Because there are so many fake accounts pretending to be celebs or organisations on Twitter it is very important to validate your account.

Here are the best ways to validate your account:

1] On your official website add a link to your Twitter page, or add a Twitter widget from here

2] Upload a video of yourself to YouTube in which you announce your Twitter page

3] Upload a picture to Twitpic of you next to your computer screen with it showing your Twitter page

4] Have your account announced by a well established Twitter celebrity
